More than 240 persons filled out applications at the spring
job fair sponsored by the Youth Job Center of Evanston at the
Evanston Public Library on April 3, Tricia Maharaj, coordinator
of the job fair, told the RoundTable.

the fair. Employers typically contact the applicants after the fair to schedule
interviews.

said Ms. Maharaj. "Employers also found it to be very successful. They said
the job-seekers were well-prepared, that they carried themselves well, and
that they were a good pool of applicants."
Employers who attended the job fair were A. J. Wright, Bed Bath & Beyond,
FedEx, Gap, Glenview Park District, Hyatt Deerfield, Kohl's, Levy Security
