middle-school talent show in the school's auditorium. Students in
grades 5-8 will be performing a variety of acts, including comedy, dance,

students, who have been participating in an artist-in-residence program
with Evanston's S.O.U.L. Creations, will present a drumming demonstration.
$5.00/person with all proceeds supporting the King Lab eighth-grade trip
to Springfield.

a night of exciting activities for Evanston families on Friday, at the

adult must bring at least one child. This free, all-ages family event is

· Nov. 17, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. 21st Annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser
conducted by the American Legion Post 42 and its Auxiliary will go to several
carefully selected charities serving families in need throughout the Evanston
