Plan Commission Approves Mather Proposal

The Plan Commission gave a positive recommendation on Dec. 7 to Mather LifeWays' proposed redevelopment of the Mather Gardens, 1615 Hinman Ave., and the Mather at the Georgian, 422 Davis St. The unanimous vote came after almost six months of debate there and nearly two years of community dispute. The recommendation will be forwarded to the Planning and Development Committee of City Council, which will weigh in next on the project, perhaps as early as January. MORE...
