None of the five candidates seeking the party’s nomination for 18th District state representative was endorsed. According to DPOE rules, to win endorsement a candidate must be ranked as first choice on two-thirds of the ballots cast. In races with three or more candidates, a candidate must be ranked first on more than half of the ballots cast. In that event, the ballots are recounted, a candidate who is ranked above "No Endorsement" on two-thirds of the ballots cast will be endorsed.
