Beginning May 1, Kenneth Preston Jones, MHA, MBA, will assume the role of President of Presence Saint Francis Hospital (PSFH) of Evanston, Illinois.
Mr. Jones joins Presence Health with nearly 20 years of experience as a leader in hospital administration and clinical operations. In his most recent position, he was Chief Executive Officer at St. Joseph Hospital, a full-service hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, that includes a multispecialty wound care/hyperbaric program, an accredited chest pain center and the region’s only verified burn center. During his tenure there, Jones improved overall employee satisfaction scores, recruited new physicians, led renovations of the surgical suites ($6 million) and cardiac cath labs ($2 million), and championed the hospital’s high reliability and safety initiatives, reducing the number of serious safety events.

Mr. Jones takes a great interest in the communities he serves, and has participated as a board member of Big Brothers, Big Sisters (Northeast Indiana), the Fort Wayne Urban League, and the Downtown Improvement District.
Mr. Jones earned a Bachelor of Science in biology at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida., and a Master of Healthcare Administration/Master of Business Administration at University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
