We
cover what matters...Evanston People who live in Evanston do so for a reason. They may be attracted by the schools, the universities, the history, the lakefront or the lifestyle. Most often, they stay here because of a commitment to life in an ethnically and economically diverse population. The Evanston RoundTable was conceived as a way to give voice to this rich and vital community.
Published every other week and distributed to 15,000 homes, with an additional 3,000 bulk-dropped to more than 50 convenient locations throughout the community, the Evanston RoundTable reaches more of the newspaper-reading public than its weekly or daily competitors.
The RoundTable is the only locally owned newspaper in Evanston. The owners and writers were active in school, political and civic endeavors for years before settling into building this newspaper.
In the eight years since its initial publication, the RoundTablehas earned a reputation for clear analysis and fair reporting. We intend to keep this reputation and to build upon it.
Coverage includes City business, commerce, school activities and policies, neighborhood and community-wide events, local theatre and art, as well as people, organizations, businesses or events that are uniquely Evanston. Our letters page is a forum for ideas, not for personal attacks.
We hope you will consider using the RoundTableto get your advertising message to the people of Evanston. Please call for rate information.
