Storytelling in the Snug ~
Illinois Storytelling Festival presents
FEBRUARY ON THE FRINGE
Two Storytellers ~ Julie Ganey and Beth Horner
One great night of Storytelling for Adults!
Described as bristling, thoughtful, and heartfelt, Julie brings her acclaimed one-woman show, Love Thy Neighbor...til it Hurts,
a tenacious look at how we misunderstand, mistake and misjudge each other &ndash
and choose to live together anyway.
Perfume placed seductively behind the knee, romantic fire flawlessly set,
a perfect kiss, a blouse unbuttoned...
But what happens when painstaking preparation for an intimate evening
draws a crowd?
Moonlight ... candles ... mothers ...police? It's "classic" love with award winning Beth Horner!
There will be NO COVER CHARGE for this wonderful event, but we will "pass the hat" for Julie and Beth that evening. **PLEASE NOTE** Seating in the Snug is very limited. Come early to reserve your seats, have a meal in our dining room, and then retire with your drinks to the coziness of the Snug for storytelling!!
Reservations for dinner and storytelling or for storytelling alone are strongly recommended.
