Evanston Cellars  proudly announces a celebration dinner for the debut of their private label  Forty Winks  to be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at  Company  (1307 Chicago Ave, Evanston 60201).  

A four-course dinner will be prepared by chef D'Andre Carter of  Feast & Imbibe  and Heather Bublick, co-owner, will manage the front of the house.

There will be two seatings for this event, the first at 5pm and the second at 8pm.

"Forty Winks  was developed to satisfy the demand for high-quality wines produced at the local level.   We source our fruit from Michigan and have the wine made to our exacting specifications based on the tastes and preferences of Chicago locovores," says Dileep Gangolli, owner of  Evanston Cellars. "If we are successful in the introduction of our first offering of three varietals, we plan to expand our portfolio and work with the best wine makers in the Midwest to create wines that can appeal to wine buyers who appreciate small-batch vinting."

Forty Winks  wines were created to capture the emerging sophistication of the Midwest wine industry and the increasing preference of diners to explore regional options when dining and entertaining. 

This dinner will feature 2012 vintages of Pinot Grigio, Riesling (semi-dry), and Cabernet Franc.   In addition, a guest pour of a Midwest sparkling wine will be featured with the first course. 

"We are thrilled to create this menu for Evanston Cellars highlighting their brandForty Winks.   Our menu will feature fresh seasonal produce sourced from the Evanston Farmer's Market and the Forty Winks wines, with their crisp acidity and lower alcohol, will highlight our menu selections," said Heather Bublick, general manager of Feast & Imbibe.
